Handcrafted in England in about 1910, this platinum ring centers on a truly exceptional Old European Cut diamond measuring 7 × 7 × 4 mm and weighing approximately 1.25 carats; large, radiant, and alive with fire. Fourteen additional diamonds, nestled into the sweeping Edwardian shoulders, add another .5 carats of scintillation, creating a broad, glittering field of light around the central stone. The ring measures 8.3 mm north to south and 19 mm across, rising 4.4 mm off the finger and narrowing to 1.4 mm at the back of the band. It weighs 2.76 grams, tests as platinum, and is a US size 5.5.
