This antique Edwardian silver locket was handcrafted around 1910. It was made in Norway and features brilliant light blue enamel. Inside are two pictures of ancestor children, a boy and a girl, in sepia tones. This translucent locket is 34 mm long and 26 mm wide and weighs 11.4 grams. It is marked with the silver fineness mark, “930S” and "MH". “MH” is Marius Hammer’s maker’s mark. He was a famous jewelry designer and metalworker that was born in Bergen, in 1847, and passed away in 1927. He was known for his jewelry designs, as well as his cutlery and table ware. His enamel has a very distinctive look to it.
