Here is a jewel worthy of that jet-setting lifestyle. Something that says you come from the establishment, worthy of the county club set, the glitterati. Do it, wear it; with denim, with silk, with vincuna, with nothing at all. Go ahead and live it to the fullest, fill it up to the brim; grab every inch, turn every head, get in every mile; you really needn’t ever take it off.
This most spectacular Belle Époque (Edwardian) bracelet is so stunning and so comfortable on that you’ll find yourself staring at your own wrist, realizing, maybe for the first time, how sensuous this appendage can be, how alluring. Hand crafted in about 1914 in Paris, this beautiful piece shines and sparkles with your every move. The bracelet contains 64 old European mine cut diamonds and 46 rose cut diamonds which are G-I in color and VS2-I1 in clarity and add up to 5.53 carats in total weight. It also is set with three richly colored emeralds, the center stone measures 7.5x6.4x3.84 mm deep and weighs approximately 1 carat, it appears untreated and has some abrasions to the facet junctions, the other two stones are about .48 and about .61 carats each for a total weight in emeralds of 2.09 carats. The bracelet is 7.4 inches long and measures 16.24 -8.32 mm wide and 6.1 mm deep, it weighs 21.8 grams. This once in a lifetime jewel is marked on the clasp with the Paris marks for platinum and 18 karat gold, the back of the bracelet and the bezels around the emeralds are gold while the diamonds are set in platinum. The clasp is a hidden tension and box clasp with a figure eight safety clasp for added security.

Here is a wonderful and cheeky rooster who is beautifully hand crafted. The body of the bird is created from a large, natural, Baroque Pearl. His tail is set with a spray of rubies, diamonds and sapphires; and his head is further set with rubies, sapphires and emeralds. The brooch is fully engraved with fanciful and realistic details down to the toes on its perfect little feet.
This piece is marked on the back of the leg, but I was not able to make these marks out. It was most likely made in France in the 1940s, at a time when these brooches were highly desirable and created by many of the important jewelry houses. Buccellati, Cartier, Yard and Tiffany all crafted brooches in this genre, many with a pearl as the central body of the animal. It's quite possible this brooch was created by one of these important houses. It's beautifully crafted, note how the back is left open to reveal the back of this magnificent, 60 carat natural pearl.
The body of this piece tests as 18 karat gold and the diamonds are set in platinum. The pin stem has a trombone style clasp. The brooch measures 55 x 53x 17 mm and weighs 21.56 grams.
This piece has been expertly appraised by an independent appraiser and has a value of $15,000. Please inquire for a full copy of the detailed appraisal.
