Vintage Calf Cut Citrine Pearl Diamond Crown Ring

I wanted something fun, something fresh, something subtle. Then I saw this pearly citrine crown ring and decided that “subtle” was no longer in my vocabulary. This piece is an assemblage of beauty, a collection of gems fit for a king. Honestly, I have no regrets.

This regal ring features a large calf cut citrine stone topped with a crown of beautiful white pearls accented with diamonds. The stones in this ring are set in platinum with an 18 karat gold back and shank. The lively citrine is a very clean stone, even looked at through a 10 power jewelers loupe. There are seven pearls that decorate the top and bottom of the citrine. They’re creamy in color and spherical in shape. The largest pearl is 7 mm in diameter while the smallest is 4.4 mm in diameter. The ring shoulders are made of 16 Old European cut diamonds, for a total weight of .36 carats. A few of the diamonds are old European cuts and a few are single cut. There are no marks on this ring and it has been acid tested to verify metal content. The face measures 26.5 x 30 x 28 mm and is 10 mm tall off of the finger. It is a size 6 and weighs 14.1 grams. Hand crafted in the 1930s, I’m not sure where, but most likely European in origin.

Forget the style limits you’ve given yourself in the past and drink this statement piece in! Enjoy this ever-decadent cocktail ring!
